Dr Yingda LiNeurosurgeon
Dr Yingda Li is an Australian trained Neurosurgeon who is also a Fellowship trained Spinal Surgeon. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2008, and underwent basic surgical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, followed by advanced Neurosurgical training at Westmead Hospital, St George Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Wollongong Hospital. He was thrice awarded the Trainee Prize during his Neurosurgical training. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Neurosurgery in 2019.
Dr Li went on to a complete a 6-month general Neurosurgical Fellowship at Westmead Hospital. This was followed by a 12-month Complex and Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery Fellowship at the University of Miami, the busiest academic Spine institution in North America, where he gained extensive experience and skills in all aspects of Spinal Surgery, including advanced Endoscopic and Robotic techniques.
Dr Li has a strong interest in teaching and research, has over 20 peer-reviewed publications, conference abstracts and book chapters, and serves as Reviewer for several leading Neurosurgical journals, including World Neurosurgery and The Spine Journal.
Dr Li is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and a member of the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.
